  1. Seek help – this can be from a teacher, tutor, counsellor, friend or family member. Speak to someone about how you're feeling and ask for their support.

  2. Practice self-care – setting aside time for yourself to relax, read a book, watch a movie, or take a bath can do wonders for your mental and physical health.

  3. Get enough sleep – this is crucial for good mental and physical health. Create an environment that promotes a good night's sleep.

  4. Create a healthy routine – this can be anything, like taking a walk every day, practicing meditation, or listening to music.

  5. Develop a growth mindset – avoid a fixed mindset and embrace a growth mindset. Believe in your potential, embrace challenges, and learn from your mistakes.

Teachers can play a vital role in helping students experiencing burnout. Teachers can reduce academic pressure and promote a healthy work-life balance. By creating a positive and supportive classroom environment, students can feel more comfortable speaking up about their struggles. Teachers can encourage students to seek help from counsellors, and they can also promote healthy habits such as getting enough sleep.

Online tutoring can also be an effective way to help students experiencing burnout. It provides a one-on-one academic environment that can reduce the pressure and anxiety that students may have when working in a classroom setting. Tutors can also teach valuable time management skills and provide guidance on setting achievable goals.

Students, teachers, and tutors have a role to play in promoting mental health and providing support. By working together, students can overcome the challenges of burnout they may experience and succeed academically.
